Black Granite Grave Ledgers

A ledger lies flat and covers the grave itself rather than marking one end of it. A half ledger covers roughly half the plot; a full ledger spans its whole length and gives the largest uninterrupted engraving surface of any memorial we make. Both are cut from polished black granite and photo engraved with the same laser process used on our upright monuments. Ledgers are heavy and usually require a prepared foundation, so confirm setting requirements with your cemetery before ordering.
